The next few months are going to be a nice and easy chunk of time. There are some John Schmitt shows, and some very important WarrenScottBand outings coming up. Also, on November 22nd I'll be taking part in another installment of the "Leave a Lasting Mark" concert series in NYC. Featuring dozens of top performers of the NY music scene, this months tribute will be to the women 90's rock. I'll be performing on several songs on guitar and drums, and will also be fronting a tune myself! Make sure to come check it out, and it's for a GOOD CAUSE (cancer research).

The calendar has been updated with a good chunk of live shows. October 7th will be a solo show featuring Chris Kelly on bass. December 9th is an intimate WarenScottBand show. Weekend ReCap

This was quite the busy weekend! Starting on Friday, John and I played a double header at the Red Lion and The Back Fence, both on Bleecker St. in NYC. We were joined at the Lion, (as per usual) by a fantastically entertaining sax player, Chuck Hancock, and on bass at the Fence by Pasquale Chieffalo.

Saturday afternoon we drove up to Corning with my dog in the back seat to play The Snooty Pig with Brandon Warren. As always, a fun set at one of my favorite places to play!

Finally we closed the weekend out on Sunday by playing another gig at the Red Lion. Interestingly, some nice ladies from Watertown, NY stopped by the stage to chat when John mentioned that I had just moved down from the Adirondacks. Small world after all, eh?

The show calendar on the site has been updated with the latest and greatest, so make sure to check that out. In addition, I'll take the opportunity to remind everyone that you can get WarrenScottBand's "Sweet Bin Music" on iTunes NOW!

Finally, I made an appearance on the SuperGeeks Podcast at www.geekshowentertainment.com this week giving a review of the newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic book reboot being put out by IDW.

In a couple of weeks, a long time dream of mine will finally be coming true. Yours Truly is moving to New York City. CD Release Party

On August 20th, WarrenScottBand will be releasing our debut album with a live CD release show at the Snooty Pig in Corning, NY.

The Snooty Pig is easily our favorite upstate venue to play, so it's a perfect location for us to celebrate this culmination of years hard work that we like to call "Sweet Bin Music"

In addition to a thrilling WSB show, NYC area band BELT! will be opening up and rocking the Pig as well!

Showtime is at 8pm, CD's are $5, and dancing is encouraged!

Finally, the rock HAS COME BACK! I'm referring of course to the rockin' music of the musical duo "WarrenScottBand". The time is drawing nearer folks, and I finally have some news! Our debut single will drop THURSDAY JUNE 23, exclusively on our Facebook FanPage. So if you haven't "Liked" our page yet, head on over and do so! The album itself will be released later this summer. Stay tuned!

New Song Demos

Over the weekend I recorded a few new demos of songs, and updated the demo of "Here Is Me". All of the tracks feature my 2 new axes: My 1985 Ibanez Musician fretless bass, and my Ibanez AGR73t Hollowbody electric guitar. New tracks can be accessed in the "Audio" section of the site.
